Create documents of your own everyday sound world with a hands-on workshop designed for everyone, regardless of background or experience. In this inclusive workshop, you’ll learn to transform ordinary sounds from your daily life into sound vignettes using your phone and the free, open-source software Audacity. Let the sounds of your daily life become the building blocks of your next creative endeavor.

© Yuko Zama Vanessa Rossetto is an American composer and chipper-shredder, processing whatever sounds cross her path into sprawling, long-form narratives. Trained as a painter, Rossetto began working with sound in 2007 as a way to incorporate the element of time into her work. Since then, she has released 25+ albums of homebrew musique concrète both on her own and with a host of collaborators.
