© Wietske Van Gils Simon Van Honacker is a listener, sound documentalist, composer, visual artist, DJ, and secretary. Van Honacker’s practice currently focuses on the auditory aspect of both old and new heritage and the associated social dynamics. He is an enthusiast of the spontaneous orchestras and organic symphonies of this world, waiting to be discovered as such.
Lieven Martens / Dolphins into the Future lives and works in Antwerp. He creates conceptual music that challenges expectations and expands the boundaries of possibility. Through experimentation and mistakes, he uncovers beauty, stories, fantasies, or hard facts. His work explores field recordings and the sociological dimensions of the soundscape and he has been recognized as a key figure in the ambient/new age revival of the past decade. Live performances blend field recordings, ambient, sound art, and modern composition. He has collaborated with Christina Vantzou, M. Sage, and others, and runs the label Edições CN.
