Being in the Weather, Listening and Recording est un atelier où vous écouterez ensemble à l’extérieur, en prêtant attention à vos concitoyens dans votre environnement commun. Vous ferez de courts enregistrements, si vous avez donc du matériel d’enregistrement que vous souhaitez apporter, vous êtes les bienvenus. Il est également recommandé d’apporter un cahier, car vous consignerez vos observations sous différents angles et prendrez des notes. Ensuite, tous les participants se réuniront à l’intérieur pour écouter les enregistrements et participer à une discussion collective. L’atelier commence à GC De Maalbeek.
© Lena Winderen Jana Winderen is an artist based in Norway with a background in mathematics, chemistry, and fish ecology. Her work focuses particularly on audio environments and creatures that are difficult for humans to access, both physically and aurally – deep underwater, inside ice, or in frequency ranges inaudible to the human ear. Her activities include site-specific and spatial audio installations and concerts, which have been exhibited and performed internationally in major institutions and public spaces. Her recent works include The River at the Jerwood Gallery, Natural History Museum , London, Absent Voices at Haus der Kunst, Munich, The Art of Listening: Underwater at the Lenfest Center for the Arts, Columbia University, New York, among others.
